Responsible for keeping the website modern, user-friendly, and up to date.

Public Relations Committee
Maintains contact with organizations such as NAVTA, OVMLB, OVMA, and AVMA as needed, and provides relevant updates to the public.

Social Media Committee
Manages the organization's social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

Constitution and By-Laws Committee
Periodically reviews and recommends revisions to the Constitution and By-Laws.

Discovery Programs Committee
Solicits suggestions from members regarding program content, organizes programs, obtains speakers, and contacts exhibitors.

Finance Committee
Develops the annual budget, presents financial reports, and audits the treasury whenever the Treasurer position changes.

Legislative Committee
Monitors legislation, ensures the OAVT remains in good standing with the State of Ohio, and engages in lobbying on behalf of veterinary technicians. Also responsible for staying up to date on the Veterinary Nurse Initiative (VNI).

Membership Committee
Determines eligibility and approves applications for membership. Maintains accurate records of member names, addresses, and district affiliations.

Nominating and Student Awards Committee
Receives and reviews completed applications for student awards and submits final selections to the Board for voting.

Responsible for communications with the Association’s membership through newsletters and announcements.
